Can I change the words that are already in my PDF?
Yes. Click the Edit Text button first, then click any line on the page. A small editor opens with the current wording - type the replacement and press Apply Edit. The replacement keeps the original typeface, weight and colour, and long text wraps so it cannot run off the page. Runs you have already changed are outlined in green - click one again to re-edit it.
Can I select and copy text from the original PDF file?
Yes. The PDF Lab renders a native PDF.js text layer over the canvas, so in Select & Move mode you can highlight, select and copy the original PDF text.
Can I move or delete elements after adding them?
Yes. In Select & Move mode, drag anything to reposition it, and drag the square handles around a selected image, shape or redaction box to resize it. Nudge with the arrow keys, undo with Ctrl+Z, and remove with the Delete key.
Is redacted text really gone, or just hidden?
Really gone. A black box drawn over words leaves them sitting in the file, recoverable with copy-paste or any text extractor. When you export, the text inside every redaction box is removed from the PDF itself.
Can I change the colour or font of something I already added?
Yes. Select it in Select & Move mode, then change the Colour, Size or Font control - the change applies to the selected item straight away.
Do edits on later pages get saved?
Yes. Every page you touched is exported, not just the first one. Use Prev / Next to move through the document and edit freely.
